The flag is torn to shreds and the Home Affairs board on the building is aged beyond recognition. Once inside helped by this kind lady Mrs Ngcobo very friendly and loves her Job 6 for her. Should be there at 6am to get early queue. Parking facily available but it will be filled up. Don't park outside as cops are continually giving fines. Forms are available and no need to print it out in advance.
More younger generation who are had working and have proper training to deal with customers needs.avoid going to the brunch by all costs it save yiu time. Home Affairs is already so inefficient, but answering the phone is something they are completely incompetent at. The website is slow though and the property could be made more accommodating to the people who use its services with very little effort in my opinion.
Department of Home Affairs - Randburg District Office
R400 and they ordered me a new ID card at the same time even though I did not ask for it. I would have had a problem however, if I had not been able to get the info about my husbands PP so be warned. Thank you to Randburg Home Affairs. The premises and offices were also clean and tidy.
They had been annotated, and a ticket number allocated to each. At 8 am the doors opened.the chairs are orderly and comfortable and there are a lot. Shortly thereafter I was called to the desk to verify the information which had already been called up. What I was not expecting was the question 'are you married to a south african'. I was then asked what nationality was my husband, did he have permanent residence, what was his passport number and when does it expire.

This is a system that doesn't work! The person in front of me was also in the wrong queue. All of the people standing in the queues are not booking online and making their lives difficult unnecessarily.
Best Government Office in Gauteng reviews
It took them a month just to get my application to head office. Those of you who gave them more that one star must have been smoking something. They are lazy, arrogant, and don't give a damn about clients. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Carry original documents for whatever you are applying for including address proof such as rental agreement, ID etc. The queue is long outside & I was there and inside the building for 5 hours in total. Home affairs edenvale this is the 3rd time I am experiencing this with the branch. I had made a branch booking for today but I guess that does not work. Off line since yesterday, government service or systems are poor. They can't even estimate the duration of network repairs.

Coastal Hire is the leading small equipment hire franchise in South Africa with over 100 stores trading nationwide and in Southern Africa. Social distancing has been implemented via the necessary designated area and PPE equipment. Controlled access has been enforced at the entrances to ensure correct customer volume is adhered to at all times and our staff compliment is restricted. All equipment is sanitised upon leaving the premises and upon return. This is definitely the best home affairs office I have ever been to.
To date I have been waiting 1.5 years for an unabridged Death Certificate. I have been back to HF Edenvale 4 times and still told they either don't know where it is or I must just wait. Super friendly and helpful staff as well as speedy and efficient service. Total time spent inside was maxinum 30min. Waiting period outside takes long and it's bit frustrating but inside help very fast and kind and professional staff assisting. Got there at 7am to apply for my passport left at 1pm.
The best experience I've ever had at a department of home affairs. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The branch manager Mr. Mokhatjane goes out of his way to assist and makes sure everyone is helped or how and if he can make their experience better. DHA apparently do not allow new applications for abridged certificates under level 3 lockdown! I am currently on attempt 10 to call their offices with not one call being answered so far. Long queues and covid precautions mean that you have to spend long hours standing outside in the sun.
The staff is dedicated from security to cashier. Its ladies but you not going to feel it they work fast. The staff are cruel and inconsiderate. The Minister should consider looking at the Edenvale building. It is a disrespectful display of how much "we" care for our Country.
I'm in a que since 8 am I'm still standing where I was upon my arrival. I have visited COJ region c for about 6 times now. On all those occasions, I received excellent service.
The entire experience I had from when I paid online until I received an sms that my ID card was ready for collection literally took a week. Went three times to change my surname and for the last three days I was told that they are offline. Funny enough their system are working. Problem is that the staff doesn't want to work and they told you you can wait inside to wait for their system. Called their lines every single day to check if they are online and no one answers. I'm so disappointed I've been waiting for home affairs to respond to me after 2 years got getting my sons unabridged birth certificate.
